What"s This All About?
- Project Zoo-Out!
- For RM75, get a fun day out at the Zoo with some adorable orphans, and all the money (minus zoo entry fee) will go directly to the orphans' education fund!
Our Goal:
With Zoo Out! we are really doing two things - giving the orphans a really enjoyable day out at the zoo, (these orphans don't really get to go anywhere, unlike more established homes) and raise funds through the selling of the RM75 entry tickets. Of course, we want our contributors to have a really great day out at the Zoo too! When was the last time YOU went to the zoo?
About Us
In a nutshell we are simply a group of fun loving privateers (100% voluntary) who care enough to want to try and raise some much needed funds for the education of orphans at the Agathians Shelter. Nutty, but extremely serious about getting charity to where it's most needed. No mega corporations to financially back our humble behinds. We like to do things small & intimate while aiming for as much big bucks as we can for the kids!
In the relatively short and eye opening time we have spent at the shelter, we have heard all about the numerous scams and swindlers who have conned their way to small fortunes at the expense of those whole truly need these funds just to get by on a daily basis. SIMPLY DISGRACEFUL is all we can say.
We hope to make a difference no matter how small and perhaps with YOUR help, perhaps we might just be able to.

The Shelter
The shelter is a relatively small and young home located in Petaling Jaya. They are a totally non-funded shelter and requires constant fund raising by the volunteers who selflessly dedicate their time and effort to ensure that the children are cared for. We wanted to try and help out by raising some money to sustain their much needed tuition fees for (hopefully) at least a year. Visit the Agathians Shelter for more details. We personally think that the work the people at the shelter do is amazing and their story and daily life at the shelter is non-glamorous and truly inspiring.
